What are your Hours of operation?
Monday – Friday 8:30am – 6:00pm
Saturday / Sunday 8:30am – 6:00pm
*If there are private events scheduled in the afternoon, there will only be a 8:30am-10:00am time slot available for open play. Please check our homepage for our weekly updated hours.
What are the time slots I can register for Open Play? How long are they?
The time slots are 8:30am-10am, 10:30am-12pm, 12:30pm-2pm, 2:30pm-4pm and 4:30pm-6pm. Each Open Play session is 90 mins.
Do I need to make a reservation?
Yes. Due to our strict capacity limit, we are limiting Open Play and Classes to 10 children per session (and limiting 1 adult per child). You can purchase drop-in or play passes ahead of time by visiting our website to reserve a time and date for an Open Play Pass, as well as our Classes for semester and/or drop-in enrollment. We are also offering Private Playdates and Classes for those who would like exclusive sessions at The Playroom NYC for those who would like to hang strictly with their crew!
Can I come play, leave and come back?
Yes. You can purchase as many time slots in the day as you wish, however, you will need to leave the facility during our 30 min shut down for sanitation and cleaning purposes in between each Open Play session.
What is the suitable age range for The Playroom NYC.
6 months to 5 years old. We restrict the age to ensure the safety of all children in the play space.
Are you a nut free facility?
We are a nut sensitive and aware facility, however, we can not guarantee to be a nut free facility due to uncontrollable circumstances.. At this time, we are not allowing any eating or drinking in our facility with the exception of water and coffee.
What is your immunization policy?
As an open public place space, we cannot require parents/caregivers to show proof of vaccination before utilizing our premises. However, we take every precaution to ensure our environment is cleaned and sanitized before and after each day.
What is your sick child policy?
We ask that parents and caregivers be considerate and keep their children home if they are sick or feeling under the weather. We want to ensure that the Playroom NYC remains a fun, safe, and healthy environment for all. The Playroom NYC reserves the right to turn away any child or adult that seems to be sick or has a temperature of 100.4 degrees.
How often are the toys cleaned?
Our dedicated cleaning professionals are on-site and available during hours of operations. Cleaning is done through-out the day with a deep clean after hours to ensure the space is kept sanitary and clean. Due to COVID-19, we will be shutting down the facility in between each Open Play time slot to ensure that the space is properly sanitized throughout the day.
Is Stroller Parking Available?
We offer limited stroller parking in the vestibule area. If possible, we recommend leaving the stroller at home or bringing a collapsible stroller.
Is there a place to eat in The Playroom NYC?
At this time, we are not allowing any eating or drinking in the facility with the exception of water.
Is there a changing table / private bathrooms at the facility?
Yes, we have a private bathroom with a changing table.

I acknowledge that neither myself,my child(ren) nor anyone in my household have been diagnosed with Covid-19 or experiencing symptoms in the last 14 days. I acknowledge that we have not knowingly come into contact with any person diagnosed with Covid-19 in the last 14 days. In addition, no member of our household has exhibited any Covid-19 symptoms — such as cough, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, fever (above 100.4), chills, muscle pain, headache, sore throat, nausea, diarrhea or new loss of taste or smell — in the last 14 days.
The Playroom NYC is committed to our community’s safety, and has put into place multiple safety precautions intended to ensure all toys, play structures, and surfaces are clean and sanitary. I intend to follow social distancing guidelines and any new rules intended to protect The Playroom NYC community from contracting Covid-19.
I understand that while The Playroom NYC has put in new policies, procedures and restrictions, The Playroom NYC cannot guarantee that I or my child will not contract Covid-19.
OPEN PLAY / PASSES
Can I use my class or open play passes for my children?
Yes, all passes can be used by immediate siblings in the family.
Do passes expire?
All passes will expire after one year from date of purchase.
How do I redeem my passes?
You can redeem any passes upon arrival at the facility, however, you must make a reservation through our website before arriving for Open Play due to our strict capacity limit. You may also call or email ahead to reserve any a specific Open Play and/or Class.
How many staff members are included in my party package and what are they responsible for?
The SELFIE packages includes two staff members, while the HANDS-FREE and OMG! include three. Staff members will facilitate your party from start to finish. The staff will greet your guests, collect and bag your gifts, pick-up toys, plating pizza along with cut and serve cake. All party packages include clean-up.
Can I bring in outside food?
You are welcome to bring your own adult food, but we ask that you notify us of any expected food delivery prior to the day of your party. Also, please make sure everything is nut-free.
Can I bring my own party favors?
Yes, you are welcome to provide your own party favors.
Can I extend the party by an additional 30 minutes?
Party extensions are available depending on the facility schedule. All party extensions must be confirmed at least 2 weeks prior to party date. The cost is $300 per additional half hour.
How does a typical party work?
All party packages are 90 minutes long. The first hour is unstructured open play followed by 30 minutes of a pizza and cake celebration in our party room.
What happens if my party runs over the allotted time?
There is a 15-minute grace period once the party ends for your guests to depart. After the allotted time, we reserve the right to charge an additional $200 should you and your guest not respect the scheduled party duration.
Is gratuity included?
Gratuity is at your own discretion, but is always greatly appreciated. We do not include gratuity in our party package.
What happens if I need to change the date and/or time of my party?
We allow reservations to be changed, however, there is a $200 date/time change fee.
